Bluewater Marine Consultants Pvt Ltd was formed in the year 2009 by seasoned master mariner Capt MP Singh with a specific goal to bring Underway STS Lightering solutions for Oil and Gas industry in Indian waters. Company has team of highly experienced and committed tanker professionals who are specialized in performing Pilotage / Mooring Master services for SBM's, Underway STS lighterings, FPSO and FSO operations with world wide experience.Having worked in initial year with Barber Ship Management, Norway and reputed tanker owners who were industry leaders learnt specifics of standard tanker operations.
With a very humble beginning, company has grown and now offer services in Navigational Audits, consultancy in Tanker related cargo issues and tank cleaning Operations prior docking, STS related consultancy, Loss control services, Pre-Vettings, Pre Purchase inspections, cargo superintendence, conducting seminars on Vetting related issues for charterers as well.
Past Work and Company Interests
- Over 130 safe Underway lightering operations (Oil & LPG) worldwide.
- Providing Pilotage services to IOCL for their Paradeep SBM Oil terminal since 2010 in extreme weather / Monsoon season in Bay of Bengal. We handle loaded VLCC’s upto 22m draft at this terminal.
- Carried out pilot project for Cargo Loss control services to IOCL.
- Technically qualified party by IOCL for performing Underway Lighterings STS operations.
- Conducting workshop and seminar on STS lightering challenges and Tanker Vettings – From Charterers Perspective.
- Ship agency for Paradeep.
- Pan India presence for Bunker / ON-OFF Hire survey / Cargo surveys Liquid & Dry bulk.
